Grace's Tips on: Weaning Off Formula/Breast Milk
If you and your pediatrician decide it's time to put your child on whole mil, try giving them an ounce of whole milk mixed with they're formula/pumped breast milk. Each day increase the milk by an ounce. I.E. day one, an 8 ounce bottle normally filled with formula or breast milk now has one ounce of whole milk and seven ounces of formula/pumped breast milk. Day two, two ounces of milk mixed with six ounces of formula/pumped breast milk. Mixed with six ounces of formula/pumped breast milk. Day there, three ounces of milk with five ounces of formula/breast milk etc.
Carefully monitor your child's behavior. Many children are allergic to whole milk
